Locally here in the St Lawrence Valley in Northern NY you can still get nice grass hay 40 lbs delivered for $1.85 a bale. Same guy from my church also has gorgeous 2nd cut for $3.50. His rounds, also picture perfect, are $28-35.00. And this was a poor hay year.
I guess it's all in the location.
I just sold 8 rounds to a neighbor for $20. each. Twine wrapped, this years grass hay, stored outside. Most I've ever sold it for and actually gotten paid, assuming the check is good! :lol:
