I often thought of putting a two way valve on my old Farmall H tractor. All you have to do is make sure your old valve is always on then use it to feed a two way open center valve. Oil under pressure will always be available at the 2-way valve and it will direct the oil where you tell it to go. It can be used to control a dual acting cylinder. The two way valve will need to be an open center valve to let the oil constantly flow thru back to the reservoir when it's not being used when the tractor is running. Very simple to hook up.
