Poor quality 2012 crop is bringing $100 per ton ($50 per 1,000lb round bale). Fair quality 2011 grass hay crop is also at $100 per ton ($50 per 1,000lb round bale). Prices go up from there to excellent quality alfalfa hay selling for $300 per ton ($150 per bale). Central MN.
