We had a 1948 IH truck my dad just called the K6, it was about 18 years old when we got it. I will always remember what a nice cab it had, how nice the doors shut. It had been an over the road truck, pulled a trailer. Big 6 gas, 5 speed with a 2 speed rear end. All of our trucks had that kind of drive line. We normally only used it for harvest, but one spring we needed a extra truck to finish up a logging operation. It was fairly cold but the engine started OK, but I couldn't let the clutch out for the longest time, must of had some thick gear lube. Brings back memories!
