I had a dead Gadwall on my pool last week and hunting season has been over for quite awhile. I guess it had a latent defect too. I don't hunt and I enjoy them bobbing up and down eating my bothersom coon tail moss.
They are Snow Geese. We have more of them on the central flyway than Canadian. I had them returning home one spring land on my wheat patch. Was about 50 of them and they just would not leave. They would just fly around in circles over me till I left and land right back where they were. You know as well as I do that if I were hunting them you wouldn't see one for miles.
