I felt that Fiat was only using the buyout as a means of having an established dealer network so they could attempt to market Fiats here. I had no idea of what they would do with Jeep or Ram but figured they would let the Chrysler name die in the long run. Even if I don't like Chrysler it would be a shame to see another American icon die.
