Be aware of shipping costs- it can really be a factor. I sold a guy an intake manifold off a Hudson car- weighs about 32 lbs. I got 50 bucks for it. But the shipping, parcel post standard (ie, mule train), is $35, from Wa to Florida. FedEx and Ugly Brown Truck were twice that. The guy is paying it, but it almost doubles the cost of the item, and I can see some "buyer resistance" on the heavier items.
And I can see some "seller resistance" when you have to sell stuff cheap so the buyer can afford the shipping. Don't think I'd have bothered with the manifold if I'd known what was involved- have to make a crate, etc. It could just as easily have been in my estate sale.
