People forget that inspections are done for a purpose and not to just harass you. All kinds of codes are in effect and for a reason. Some guys think they can get away with anything and it might be just fine but when they go to sell their property some unsuspecting person buys what he thinks is a house that is built to code only to find out it was never inspected and has no idea what is behind those walls.
