I wish I were able to name the make and model but we usd a 2 row horse drawn planter we simply called "The Lister",for small jobs from the late 40s through the late 80s. For those who never hooked up planters that sold with early Fords, they were a mess so you could plant 2 or 3 acres with the lister before time it took to get the Dearborns adjusted. Never replaced a thing other than the wood tounge which was removed afterseveral years and replaced with means of attaching 3 point(an engineering wonder in it;sself). We cut a few "custom"plates from plywood over the years and they worked perfect. I recall the planter often and wish I could use it but that's another story about a family member who got it on his place, effectivly held it hostage since 93. Hands down one of the best things I ever saw. Unbelievably,it could set 2 years and work without unsticking or oiling. It amazes me why nuts and bolts on 100 year old equipment can be removed without heat or breaking.
