I have an 01 Chevy Impala. When you push the trunk button the trunk lid unlocks, but you need to grab the trunk lid and pull it up. This is an inconvenience when you come out of the grocery store and have to stick your hands in the slush and slop to open the trunk and then you have nothing to wipe your hands on. I am wondering if they are all this way, or if the lid should raise when you press the release? I do have an old tractor and I like old tractors.
