I would check the release bearing and holder first. Then the PP fingers and all the linkage to the clutch. Is the new clutch disc thicker than the old one, as in too thick for this tractor? That would hold the fingers farther from the release bearing. I hate when new stuff doesn't work right. The second time in there doesn't take as long though!
