Several years ago I had to have part of my big toe nail cut out. Yes, it is painful even to watch. But I have actually had it done to both sides of each big toe. The last time I was in there I asked the doctor what he would charge if I didnt have insurance. The doctor said, 1/2 the amount if you pay then and there with a check, this is a small time doctor with 1 receptionist and 1 helper/nurse. Luckily I have insurance.

We had a mixed farm consisting of grain and dairy all done with old machinery and by hand.
