rr, When I was a kid back in the late 40s and early 50s we used to get the Farm Journal. About once every year, both John Deere and GMC had coupons in the Farm Journal that you could send in to get a magazine size factory brochure. Now, this is back during the period when I was 10 to 15 years old. Those brochures were many pages and described all the new products they had to offer that year. The John Deere brochure always had a "centerfold" showing a complete cross section of one of their tractors from the engine to the rear end. In later years other "centerfolds" peaked my interest! LOL I loved the GMC brochures too and developed a love affair with the COE trucks which I thought were really tough looking. Although I saved a lot of stuff from my youth (I never had much) I did not save any of those brochures and I think they would be quite valuable today. As Bob Hope used to say; "thanks for the memories".
