Yes, Ih made the engine, and sold it to Ford. Ih never had the problems with them that ford did, though, because Ford really turned them up. When the 6.9's fist came out, and even later on the 7.3's, our local Ih dealer wouldn't touch them. Told everybody that the Ford version was going to have trouble, and most did!
