I have a Case IH 885 with the xl cab, I am having trouble getting it in fourth gear - pretty sure I have an internal problem. Anyone else have similar issues? Do I have to remove the cab to get to top of transmission? Or can I possibly lift it up 6 inches or so? HELP!! The dealer says it could cost me about a third of the value of the tractor for them to repair it, so I dont want to do that!
