Back in the good ol' days, by the time you were at about the second seat from the front, off we went, and you kind of had to time your leap sideways, while at a dead run down the aisle, to hit the seat you wanted. I got pretty good at mis-timing it just enough to "accidentally" entwine myself with Sherry Malamphy or some other toothsome lass, who was much too fine to approach in the normal manner. It was great training for leaping onto moving hay trailers or trains, King crab fishing, and many other useful pursuits. The present policy prepares you for living in a nursing home.
