Kinda funny but over the last 15 ears of so I've seen 4 new Wal Marts go in. In one town the city council fought them. Now the members have to admit that the only business that folded was another box store that made the stuff Wal Mart carries look like the very top of the line goods. They have in fact had more small businesses open. The other 3 towns I don't see much or any impact. MOM and POP had to lower prices some but to still be there 10 years later tells me that the 20 years prior the were gouging like mad.
Now I don't shop at Wal Mart, can't stnd em. But lets not make stuff up about em.
