This is a really mixed up post. First of all, how do you know the thief had a gun and why does that even matter - a thief is a thief? But more importantly; Would you take away a person's 1st amendment right to free speech for thievery? Or his 4th amendment protection from search and seizure say maybe for perjury? Maybe strip him of his 3rd amendment rights for not recycling? Being stupid or bad does not disenfranchise a person from protection under the constitution.
