Before I can reasonably respond,there are issues I am not clear on. I totaly understand not confrunting the thief since he was armed but if you or your neighbor saw the armed thief did you make an attempt to follow and get a license number off his vehicle? If there was no vehicle it must be another neighbor in which case you probably recconized him. Please fill in more details so we will know what we are discussing.
