i use 5 gallon cans, every 2 weeks i go refill them,fast rotation keeps the fuel fresh, i really dont know what is in this modern government gas, but i do know from bitter experience it isnt worth a crap for any storage over a few months, over the winter i use stabil in them as my fuel use drops considerably, sometimes i can stretch refills out to 3 weeks
