about 10 years ago i decided to spread manure one nice summer day. I dont have many cattle around anymore, so the spreader had sat for a couple months. So I load up and go out to the field on the open station 2840. I start to unload, and feel a prick on the back of my neck. Bumblebees!! Looked like a swarm of them to me..I panicked..and jumped off the tractor. Thankfully I was goin slow, and also I was only 25 years old. I stood 10 feet away from the tractor, saw the bees take a little retreat, so I jumped on, put it in road gear, got back to the buildings, skidded to a stop, and jumped off again. I dont know if I knocked the nest off or what, but in 20 minutes the bees were gone..
