I hope you're right. You don't need the same kind of "mistake" that has happened here in NY State.
However, our county legislature just passed a "Kiss Our Butts" resolution regardingGov. Cuomo, and the new NYS gun law. Local law enforcement people are on record as basically telling the citizens of the county: "Carry On. We aren't looking or enforcing."
I don't like it that folks who aren't familiar with NYS lump everyone together as New York City People. Just isn't the case--Our part of NYS is called "upstate" for reasons other than the fact that it is "up" north of NYC. We upstaters have as much in common with the folks in the "Big Apple" as Israelis have in common with the Iranians.
