I Had a job come in a 350 chebby with a starter bolt broke off,,, I got the broken bolt out no problem but the new bolt wanted to bind going in so I ran a tap in the hole BUT it would not back out<<< WTF &^$^*>>> I ended up breaking it off trying to back it out :cry: ... I was in a jam,,, so I have herd you can blow'em out with a torch so what the ell I fired it up to my amazement in a matter of seconds the tap turned cherry red hit the O2 and the tap was gone,,, BTW I then discover their was a Heli-coil in the hole that's what stuck up the tap,,, never run a tap in a hole with a Heli-coil :twisted:
All EZ outs will break price has nuttin to do with it... I spec what old has is a screw extractor set they don't bite well and usually will spin in the hole before that break... Are how Snap-on states "Shoulder prevents extractor from entering too deeply and expanding screw",,, I have the snap-on set and they are purty much useless...
