Back in '63 in Korea in JAN I saw a 9 year old kid dressed like your kid's friend. He was shivering in the -10 temp.
My friend with me told us he'd see us later. I found out later that he took him in the local GI store & put him a GI winter outfit down to wool long johns, wool pants, shirt, field jacket w/liner, bunny cap, wool socks & boots.
Any time we went to the village that kid wanted to know where Dela Garzia was. I believe that if J.C. himself was to visit that kid he'd have to wait to see what Dela Garza wanted first.
