'51 Merc. Got it with 80,000 mi on it while in HS and traded it on a brand new Impala convertable in 1960. The rocker panels were rotted out when I got it and found a set of snap on panels at the local junk yard. Painted 'em and that was it for another 100.000 mi. I remember parking with my girl friend one fridgid night in a farm field. Temps were below 0 and we were laying on the front with my left arm around her down by the leaky rocker panels and the right hand on a "excursion" trip on her. Back then mothers made their dotters wear these 'rubber undergarments" that were made out of old innertubes I think! After about 5 minutes of necking the left hand was totally numb from the cold and the right hand had no feeling due to lack of blood circulation! The drive was definatly alive in those days!!!
