Put am M farmall under a dead load for the first time one spring and before long all kinds of smoke from under the hood near the muffler. Its amazing how much dirt it takes to put out a birds nest. I don't think it ever really caught fire. I bet I had 25lbs of dirt on top of everything under the hood it was every where from the radiater to the belt pulley.
