$13 per acre to cut, $6 per acre each time I rake (usually only takes 1 rake if hot and not rained on). For squares, 90 cents a bale dropped in the field, for 5x5 rounders $12.50 per bale.
I did a 16 acre alfalfa field, second cut late in the season after the drought, so had to rake it 3 times to get it dried enough, 22 round bales. Charged a bit over $700 for the job.
I use the NCRS Web Soil Survey site to map the field so I only charge on the acres I actually cut, not what the owner says the field is in size.
