I don't think you are going to get rich at that rate. I haven't done custom haying for 25 years, and when I did, I got $1.00 per bale to cut, rake and bale (onto the ground). $.50 a bale to put it in the barn. Baling only was 50 cents a bale. Share rate was same as for grains- landowner gets a third, I got 2/3. Most often, they wanted me to just sell it all and gave them a third of the money.
