you need to find a bigger truck or a smaller trailer, even if you do have a class A cdl, which you better, taking a 18k 48ft long trailer and hooking it to a little 1 ton pickup will get you hauled straight to jail around here thats way too much trailer even empty for a pickup, the every least id try to pull it with is a class 6 truck something like a c-70 chevy, better still would be a single axle class 7, like a freightliner business class, peterbilt 330 ect
