As long as our treasury department keeps printing more new money to keep the intrest rate down which inturn lowers the value of the dollar, gas will continue to increase in price.
It looks like oil prices are going up but the fact is the oil and gold has gone up for the same reason. The only way for both to go down is to raise interest rates to pay down treasury bonds. Carter couldn't get the treasury to print enough money so interest rates went sky high. Someone chose to let gas to gp rather than interest rates. Don't know which hurts more for the middle class.
