Youth and excelent health are posatives, no doubt about it but you are forgetting the negatives. KidS. As in plural. Kids are expensive, really expensive. More so now than ever before in history. Kid gets a sniffle, off to the doctor. Kid skins his knee, off to the doctor. Kid gets sick at school, stop the frigging presses, Mommie or Daddy has to leave work and pick the kid up for a trip to the ER. Now take those kid problems and times it by how many kids they currently have. Ya, its expensive.
Now, you said they need maternity coverage. Why would they need that? Know what it tells me? Tells me they are going to have MORE kids. Well taking care of Mommie when she has a bun in the oven is expensive. Complications? Bed rest is always the answer. Little bugger wont come out or comes out too soon? Wow, thats some money there. Get a little one to pop out too soon and need an incubator, resperator, the whole nine yards? Ya, that little one could end up costing more than what the parents will make in a lifetime. But lets say everything goes smooth, an on time, happy, healthy little bambino. Cool, right? Not so fast, see the above paragraph on how expensive kids are..... hint, they are expensive.
What we have is a huge problem of people thinking they have a right to health care. Just ask random people on the street but of course, they dont want to pay for it. Entitlement mentality. Its going to kill this nation, if it hasnt already.
The thing you should be asking your kids is: who did you vote for this last election and who are you going to vote for in the upcomming election? Mark my words, in a couple years the goverment will see the error of allowing employers to not insure people at the 30 hour mark and they will cut it back to something like 20 hours. Guess what the "new normal" will be then for working a "full time" job? Yep, 19 hours. We need to fix this problem and the only way to do it is vote them out....
