I don't know why anyone thinks it's the employer's responsibility to pay for their employees health insurance. Workers comp, yes. Health insurance, no. In the 35+ years I've worked I've had employer furnished health insurance about 4 years.
They used to call employer furnished benefits fringe benefits. Like many other things many people now see health insurance as an entitlement.
Requiring employers to furnish health insurance will just drive more jobs out of the US.
