The reason I am saying this is Ford got sloppier as the tractors got newer. The prefixes are not all ways in the old tried and true format. It really depends on what plant the newer tractors where made in.
A good fried is a Ford dealer, has been for forty years. He says anything newer than 1965 can have different prefixes because of options, the manufacture date, and what plant they where built at. He showed me this years ago. He had four Ford 5610s setting on his lot. They all had the same options. They had different serial number formats. They where built in three different plants.
