Spring Hill Tennesse is about 35 miles south of Nashville. The mayor of Spring Hill is a man whose last name is Dinwiddie. A while back the major radio stations in Nashville were running a news story about something he had done. Apparently the copy writer spelled his name Dinwiddle, so all of the talking heads promounced it that way.
Now, many of the folks in Spring Hill simply refer to him as Dinwiddle. I love the news reporting.
