Just another way to look at it. Smile & tell the cashier "Keep it up Honey, flattery will get you somewhere".
The person who signs the paychecks or time sheets makes the rules. There are 2 rules in the job world. 1- The Boss is Always Right. 2- If the Boss is Wrong, see Rule Number 1.
Item below about capping a well if not used for 30 days. That wouldn't work around here. Have about a dozen summer lake cabins within a mile of me, & hundreds of thousands more across the northland. They all close up & winterize the water systms in October, re-open mid April. They don't have to cap & re-drill the wells every year. Also some retired snowbirds close up every fall & head to the sunbelt for 6 months or so.
