An old man gets up off of his chair and tells his wife "I'm going into the kitchen, do you want anything?" She says "Well, yes, I'd like some ice cream." He say OK and heads for the kitchen. Then she says "Oh, can you put some chopped nuts on it?" OK he says. Then she says "You better write this down; you're going to forget." He says "I'm not going to forget, for crying out loud." Then she says "I also want some chocolate syrup on the top and you are going to forget all that, so you better write it down!" He says "For gosh sake! I can remember ice cream with chopped nuts and chocolate syrup!" and storms into the kitchen. A little while later, he comes out and brings her some bacon and eggs. She look at it says "Where's the toast?"
