H&R block is going to file the quickest, easiest way possible, they are not interested in lowering anyones tax because to take the full gamut of deductions could easily open a person up to scrutiny and they don't make money representing you at an audit. H&R block is interested in convincing people that the tax preperation process is multi layered and complicated and they need to pay ridiculous sums for a little basic math and reading comprehension, they do not want tax code reform because it would put them out of business. Most people have a fairly basic tax return, the majority of people are scared to take the legitimate deductions due them because of the IRS, an organization that is as close to jack booted thugs as we presently have in this country.
