Burr mill, used for grinding feed. Not the same as a hammermill. Fineness of grind is adjusted by cranking the two long bolts in front of the bowl-shaped housing. Hopper is missing. IH used to have a moving bar inside the hopper to stir up the grain, especially ear corn....so it would feed into the machine. Grew up using one, shovel everything in, shovel everything away. I have a complete one now, IH, purchased on an auction.
