There are so many good .223 bolt guns out there that I don't think you can go wrong. Pretty much all the factory guns these days shoot well. Accuracy will be affected more by what ammo you use than by the brand of gun. No serious varminter shoots factory ammo, and shooting military ammo in an accurate rifle is just silly.
Personally, I'm partial to the .22-250, but .223 pretty much dominates varminting these days, due to the popularity of heavy bullets and fast twist barrels. Most rifles in .22-250 don't have a fast enough twist to shoot the ridiculously heavy bullets available today.
