Hi a guy had them near me here in Manitoba. both of them cracked the pinion bearing holder in the rear end and chewed things up. They are hard on equipment so this may be a factor in this too!. They managed with a struggle to find good used center castings in wrecking yards in Canada. Repaired them and one did it again shortly after, It was welded and both got traded on 4430 Deeres. They where a pile and no better but oh well not my problems to fix in my shop lol. I have heard that the later serial numbers are upgraded but cannot confirm this. Maybe go check serial numbers and parts list on Agco on line parts and see if there are different rear center axle castings listed. Regards Robert
