Some 90 degree "v", some 60, some odd numbers such as 72.5 degrees and some even firing, some not even firing, some with splayed/offset crank journals, some with balance shafts, some not, and on & on. A good one designed without constraints tying it to old V8 tooling (clean sheet of paper) & they are smooth as silk. Compromised designs can be real shakers.
