I am always skeptical of "new and improved". I hope they do hold up for those that own them. But given Ford's track record with BAD engine designs,plus anytime you put high output into a smaller and smaller package the life gets shorter and shorter. That's all alum. too isn't it ? Never seen any all alum. designs hold up very long. Too much expansion and contraction takes the gaskets out of them. Alum. heads on cast iron blocks are bad enough for head gasket failures.
