That leads me to something I was thinking about recently. When was the most progress made in tractor technology,relatively speaking? If you compair in say,30 year increments,think about how they changed from 1930 to 1960. Not even the same machine. Capabilities changed,just the whole general use of them changed,from some lumbering beast that ran on kerosene and was just used for belt work and tillage to what they had become by 1960. Now compare a tractor built in 1982 to one built in 2012. My 82 has an air conditioned cab,AM-FM radio with cassette,digital tach,speedometer,dual PTO tach,3pt hitch,turbo....pretty much everything the one 30 years newer would have except the computer. Just something to ponder.
