So sad that this happened, I wonder what they were thinking..to get out of the car..?? I ran Coast-to-Coast for 13 years and have seen conditions you could only have heard of.. It IS Winter and everyone should expect and be ready for adverse conditions...(I even carried a little 10 lb sack of Rock-Salt in that big truck).!!
I think people are being miss-led into thinking they are Safe", because of the "ABS Brakes", "Traction Control" and other such imaginary devices..
As with many other areas, Education is NEEDED, not more "Safety Devices"..
