You probably pulled the shift lever past the shift gate. This is usually caused by wear in the gate and shifter itself, or... a little overzealous shifting. You will have to pull the top off of the trans,get all the gears in neutral and reinstall the top, making sure all the shift forks are in neutral and they go in the proper place on the sliding gears. If it is an Economy tractor,they used a Crosley car transmission. Parts are available on fleabay as are complete transmissions.
