Bret4207, If it happened once, it can happen again. This may be a good reason to have a metal roof.
Does your insurance company know you have a wood burner?
Years ago a guy's house burnt to the ground and the insurance company had an issue paying because he said he didn't have a wood burner. May want to check with your insurance. George
