couple thoughts on this. it sounds like they put a new trans and clutch in the truck from what you said. i would start by dropping the drive shaft off at the differential, and see if the differential spins ok. that eliminated a ring and pinion problem, ect. then try and spin the drive shaft while it is off the differential. next, check the shift linkages to be sure the trans isnt stuck in two gears. they could have one of the linkages flipped. if thats ok, you will need to drop the trans. see if the trans input shaft spins, it will have some resistance, but you should be able to engage the gears to see if all is good. check the clutch and disc to see if the disc was installed backward. then check the pilot bushing. really hard to tell what they did without tearing it down. check also the throw out bearing and fork to see if the bent it when they installed the trans.
