If shooting is an option, get a high-powered air rifle. Set up a cardboard box or other covered shield with the open side facing your patio door. Place squirrel treats (pecans? peanuts?) in the box. Place recliner in front of open patio door. Load air rifle, open beer, turn on TV, settle in and wait for little Cheeky to come grab his nuts. Zap! When box fills with squirrels, haul box to the dump, or rescue mission, or someplace else.
