I started farming with a older neighbor about 10 years ago, he lost his wife a couple of years ago to cancer and my wife and I have worked out a deal to take over the farming and buy cattle from him. I still winter cattle at his place, so that I have an excuse to stop in and check on him and help do odds and ends. I stop in most everyday and talk with him about what is going on the farm and just talk, I enjoy his company. I stopped in this afternoon after I finished choring and talked with him and all sudden he got up without saying anything and used the bathroom then put on his jacket, he was dressed nice which is usual for Sunday so I didn't think anything about it. Then I got up and told him I was going out to finish chores and asked where he was headed. He got a sheepish look on his face and said "I have an invitation for coffee, but I'm not telling you who with". I wished him a good evening and went out to do chores.
