It took a long time before factory offered a block heater as optional equipment on a new rig. Do you know what a pain it is to take one out of a new skid loader when the customer says he won't take it with it in there. Boss sure isn't going to lose a sale just because mechanic has to do a little extra work getting a machine ready for delivery. No two customers alike I will tell you.
